Manitoba Moose reduce Training Camp roster by three to 30

Little reduction to ease the space at training camp.

After the Moose reduced their training camp roster by five players on Monday to get to a roster of 33, they made an additional three moves today sending the following players to their ECHL affiliate in Norfolk including:

D – Simon Kubicek
F – Mark Liwiski
G – Thomas Milic

For Milic, the 2023 5th rounder of Winnipeg, it will mean an opportunity to spend his first year as a pro playing big minutes.

This still leaves 30 players in camp although with no roster limits (other than internal ones the team sets) there isn’t really any deadline to make further reductions. For now here they are:

Forwards (19): Axel Jonsson-Fjallby, Parker Ford, Henri Nikkanen, Jeffrey Viel, Jeff Malott, Kristian Reichel, Dominic Toninato, Wyatt Bongiovanni, Danny Zhilkin, Nicholas Jones, Brad Lambert, Chaz Lucius, Nikita Chibrikov, C.J. Suess, Daniel Torgersson, Carson Golder, Thomas Caron, Colt Conrad* and Stelio Matheos*

Defence (9): Kyle Capobianco, Ashton Sautner, Tyrel Bauer, Dawson Barteaux, Simon Lundmark, Artemi Knaizev, Jimmy Oligny, Dean Stewart, Dmitry Kuzmin

Goalies (2): Oskari Salminen and Collin Delia.

Manitoba kicks off their regular season home/season opener against the Calgary Wranglers here in Winnipeg. Puck drop is at 7 PM.
