The Moose concluded a four game set in Winnipeg on Sunday with a disappointing 5-1 loss which saw them go 1-1-1-1 against two of the teams sitting close to the bottom of the Western Conference. We also learned that Jets prospect Colby Barlow missed the last game due to an injury that was labelled as day-to-day.
Roster:
On Sunday the Jets announced they had recalled goalie Domenic DiVincentiis and it looks like he will be heading to Vancouver to backup Eric Comrie in the first game after the Olympic break with gold medal winning Connor Hellebuyck getting the game off. They also still have Walker Duehr, Ville Heinola and Elias Salomonsson up with the big club. Of course the Jets can only have 23 players on the roster and while there is uncertainly regarding the status of Kyle Connor, it appears Josh Morrissey will be missing more than just the game on Wednesday. Who exactly else will be coming with the team to British Columbia is unknown but we should have clarity later today.
Skate news:
Two player missing from skate today are Colby Barlow and Kale Clague.
Recalled:
Turns out that the reason Clague wasn’t on the ice with Manitoba is he’s been recalled up to the Jets for the first time this season.
Projected lines & D pairs:
Shaw – Gustafsson- Di Giuseppe
JAD – Zhilkin – Fagemo
Wagner – Ford – Chibrikov
Julien – Yager – Lambert
Empey
