The Moose earned themselves three of four points this weekend after facing the Wranglers for the first time this season. However, they had a 2-0 lead in the game and probably could have walked away with two points even though Calgary was the better team in this hockey game. The strong play of Jets goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis, who made 38 saves on 40 shots was a big reason why they were in the hockey game. But they gave up a late goal and then ultimately lost 3-2 in a shootout.

The only question mark is the status of Brad Lambert who had been scheduled to play in the first game of this four-game homestand on Saturday but was a late scratch. He also missed yesterday’s game.

Recall/Loan news:

With the Jets set to resume practice today the NHL club of Winnipeg has called up four players from the Moose:

G: Domenic DiVincentiis
D: Elias Salomonsson & Ville Heinola
F: Walker Duehr

They also reassigned from their ECHL club to Manitoba:

G: Isaac Poulter

Manitoba also recalled defenceman Ben Zloty who is on an AHL deal.

Skate news:

They’ve got Brad Lambert in light blue which I guess signifies illness. Also no Nikitia Chibrikov this morning.

Player media:

Up next:

They are off tomorrow.
