The AHL club of Manitoba is back in Winnipeg this week as they get set for a huge tilt this weekend against a Grand Rapids team which until two weeks ago had just one regulation loss. In the four games since January 9th the Griffins have lost three times (once in OT).
Of course they still remain eight points up in top spot in the entire league (with four games in hand) and will be a big test for Manitoba who sits third in the Central, with 11 fewer wins (although the Moose have second most in the division after GR).
Skate news:
Looks like Jets prospect Jacob Julien (2023 5th) will be making his home pro debut this weekend.
Projected lines & D pairs:
Lambert – Ford – Di Giuseppe
Shaw – Gustafsson- Duehr
Wagner– Yager – Chibrikov
Barlow – Julien – Fagemo
Empey & Wagner (in light blue, working in).
Heinola – Barteaux
Anhorn– Clague
Sautner – Bauer
Zloty
DiVincentiis & Milic
