Manitoba Moose Practice Report

The Moose wrapped up a weekend set against the Wild which kicked off six straight at home and ended an unusual stretch which saw them play four straight games against Iowa.

In their loss on Sunday they were without David Gustafsson who missed the game due to illness so we shall have to see how he’s doing.

As well there are a trio of Jets prospects in Colby Barlow, Jacob Julien and Fabian Wagner who have been skating but listed as day-to-day.

Assigned:

After picking up two wins in two starts the team announced the Jets had loaned goalie and Winnipegger Isaac Poulter down to Norfolk of the ECHL.

Skate news:

David Gustafsson back after missing last game and the only Jets prospect of trio of injured ones skating with group is Colby Barlow. Barlow did head off after about 20 minutes of the formal part of practice.

Head coach Mark Morrison also provided an update on the trio of injured Jets prospects:

“Not really sure where Wagner and Julien are. I know Julien’s been skating on and off. He’s getting better. I’m not sure Wagner, there’s no timeline on him. Barlow’s right close as he took a couple of drills today, he’ll take the whole practice tomorrow and hopefully we can get him into a game this weekend.”
