Manitoba Moose hold 1st intermission Teddy Bear toss

During the 1st intermission of today’s Manitoba Moose and Milwaukee Admirals game the Moose brought back a tradition that dates back to the old Manitoba Moose 1.0 days.   The Teddy Bear Toss raises both funds and donates toys to The Christmas Cheer Board.   According to the Moose “the all-time franchise record for stuffed toys collected was 2,073 on Dec. 18, 2009 during a 1-0 shutout victory over Lake Erie”.

A new record was established this evening as 2330 bears were tossed on the ice for charity.  Well done Winnipeg.
