Hockey fans in Manitoba won’t just be getting Jets promotional items and events as the Moose announced their schedule of events and giveaways today as well.

The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today its promotional schedule for the 2017-18 regular season. Nearly half of all Moose home games this season feature a theme, specialty jersey or giveaway.
The Moose hit the ice at Bell MTS Place for their Home Opener on Friday, Oct. 13 when they host the Cleveland Monsters. The first 6,000 fans through the doors will receive an LED wristband to be a part of the opening festivities.
Fan favourite giveaways making a return for the upcoming campaign include two Mini Bobbleheads (Dec. 30 and Mar. 24) and Upper Deck Hockey Cards (March 4). Returning themes for the 2017-18 season include Star Wars Day (Dec. 10), along with community initiatives presented by Red River Co-op including: Share the Warmth (Nov. 19), Teddy Bear Toss (Dec. 9), Shutout Hunger (Dec. 31) and Autism Awareness Day (Mar. 31).
New for this season, Bell MTS Place gets spooky on Oct. 28 for the team’s Halloween Game featuring a pillowcase giveaway, handy for fans planning on trick-or-treating three days later. Join the Moose for their Holiday Game on Dec. 22 and receive an early present with the Mini Mick E. Moose Gnome giveaway. Discard your secret identity and find your super suit on Feb. 19 for Superhero Day, which features a growth chart giveaway.
The 2017-18 promotional schedule features four specialty jerseys, including three returning fan favourites in the Polar Bear Jersey (Jan. 14), Retro Jersey (Feb. 25) and Autism Awareness Jersey (Mar. 31). Additionally, the Moose will host Law Enforcement Appreciation Night on Nov. 17, featuring a jersey honouring Manitoba’s law enforcement officers.
