Landon Ferraro will join play-by-play voice Dan Robertson in the TSN broadcast booth as the new colour analyst for Winnipeg Jets games as per Toronto Star writer Jonah Sigel.
The B.C. product was selected 32nd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2009 NHL Draft. He began his professional career with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins, winning a Calder Cup championship during his second season. Ferraro made his NHL debut with Detroit the following season and went on to play 77 NHL games with the Red Wings, Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild.
Ferraro concluded his playing career in Germany’s DEL following the 2022–23 season. In September 2024, he joined Sportsnet as an analyst for its regional Vancouver Canucks broadcasts.
He follows Brian Engblom, Shane Hnidy and Kevin Sawyer as the fourth full-time colour analyst since the Jets returned to Winnipeg in 2011.
Broadcasting also runs in the family. His father, Ray Ferraro, played 18 seasons and more than 1,200 games in the NHL before becoming one of hockey’s most prominent analysts. The elder Ferraro also worked alongside Dennis Beyak on select Jets broadcasts during the 2017–18 season following Hnidy’s departure for Vegas.
