Kyle Connor points streak hits 24; natural hat trick in 2nd period

The Wolverines are in St. Paul taking on Penn State in the semi final of the Big Ten Championship series.  Of course all eyes in Winnipeg are on #18 Kyle Connor as he continues to excite fans with his play.  After a quiet 1st period for the Jets 2015 1st round pick his CCM line got things started in the 2nd as he picked up three goals in a row (aka the natural hat trick).

During the 2nd period intermission Wolverines coach Red Berenson was interviewed about the Jets prospect and had this to say:

“It’s special.  He has a gift and it’s amazing.  Whether its his release, his accuracy, his consistency, I mean this kid can score goals.  And they are not garbage goals.  They are big time goals. He’s showing us something special this year…..He does all the right things a scorer should do”

According to Michigan Hockey his 32nd goal (his third was #33) is a new Michigan Wolverines freshman record.

While I was transitioning from my house to the MTS Centre for tonight’s Jets and Blackhawks game appears that Mr. Connor put in goal number four of the game.
