Notable:
The power play struck again courtesy of Nino Niederreiter‘s tip of a Neal Pionk shot. That asisst gave Pionk six assists in six games for the Jets. Not too shabby.
Just under six minutes later Colin Miller unleashed a bomb from the point to get his first ever goal as a member of the NHL club of Winnipeg.
Kyle Connor‘s torrid scoring pace continues as he got his fifth of the season in game six which gave Cole Perfetti three assists on the night. It was just the third time in Perfetti’s career he’s gotten three apples.
And goalie Connor Hellebuyck improves to 5-0-0 with a .948 save% and a 1.40 GAA.
Also the power play remains 1st in the NHL at 44.4% while the penalty kill is 15th at 80%.
