In the biggest game of the season and possibly ever the Jets come up with a complete 60-minute win over the Stars in Game 5 to force a Game 6. Connor Hellebuyck gets his second shutout of this series, the home team scored two power play goals, the penalty kill was good and they play connected hockey.

Notable:
Fans were amped up from the start even prior to puck drop. No surprise they gave Connor Hellebuyck his customary MVP chants when he was announced as the starting goalie. And a huge ‘True North’ during the Canadian anthem.
Jets organization recognized the efforts of first responders who are dealing with the wildfire threats in Manitoba.
Superman music seem appropriate on this Hellebuyck save. It was followed by chants of MVP
And it was a really big save as Mark Scheifele, who appears to have been playing pool with Nikolaj Ehlers, banked in the opening goal of the game.
Fans chanted “shoulda kicked it” after the Jets goal was called off. Funny one Winnipeg fans.
Jets get back-to-back power play goals courtesy of Nikolaj Ehlers (here) and Vlad Namestnikov (here).
Jamie Benn propelled his fist into Mark Scheifele’s face knocking down 55 and the linesman. Scheifele was a smidge incensed as a result. 14 got the gate.
Fans were already going berserk but then Nikolaj Ehlers puts on the afterburners to make it a 4-0 game.
