Jets beat Predators 5–2 as secondary scoring helps end four-game slump

Recap of the game.

The Jets end their four-game slide with a 5-2 win over the Predators which included some much needed secondary scoring.

Notable:

Crazy that Sportsnet did a feature on Jets backup goalie Thomas Milic and didn’t spend any time on what Thomas did in the AHL or ECHL.

Vlad Namestnikov was lucky to avoid serious injury as he was shaken up after this neutral zone collision but returned to the game and assisted on Cole Perfetti‘s goal.

While they got secondary scoring from Nino Niederreiter and Cole Perfetti the top line continues to get it done as both Gabriel Vilardi and Kyle Connor found the back of the net for Winnipeg.

With the win the Jets improve to 13-10-0 and are just one point back of a wild card spot (with a game in hand).

Multi Point Game:

Dylan Samberg 3A
Nino Niederreiter 2G
Gabriel Vilardi 1G 1A
Luke Schenn 2A
