Injury Update: Jets game plan for Joel Armia and Shawn Matthias

In his pre-game chat with Dennis Beyak of TSN, Jets coach Paul Maurice provided an update on his game plan for his last two forwards on injured reserve in Joel Armia and Shawn Matthias:

“They’re both training well now.  I just want to get them more practices.  Nothing is set in stone.  We’ll get both of them through another practice tomorrow but they have to look right beyond being healthy.  So once they get cleared they got to get on the ice and look like they are ready to jump in the lineup.”
