Jets fans probably figured the news wasn’t good when they saw their prized rookie heading off in the 2nd period of the game yesterday.
Well news just broke that he could be gone for 6-8 weeks.
Early indications are that Mark Scheifele suffered an MCL injury. Likely out 6-8 weeks. #TSN

Update:
According to head coach Paul Maurice the Jets are labeling the injury to Mark Scheifele as an MCL sprain. He wouldn’t put a time frame on recovery.
