Wednesday night’s first hour was devoted to Chris Zelkovich, Sports Media Columnist for the Toronto Star, and Cory Masisak of the Washington Times. Zelkovich discussed the quality of CBC and TSN’s broadcast, NHL playoff scheduling, Penguins/Capitals ratings expectations and HNIC theme song controversy. Cory Masisak talked about the Ovechkin/Crosby rivalry, health status of Mike Green, playing status of Michael Nylander and the mended fences between Malkin and Ovechkin.
The second hour featured Drew, Rich and I (making my first radio show appearance) discussing all four 2nd Round match-ups. After discussing each series we predicted whom we expected to win the series; and finally, the segment ended with the IC cheers and jeers for the past week.
