True North Sports + Entertainment announced today tickets for the 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ will go on sale for eligible Winnipeg Jets™ Seat Holders starting Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at 9 a.m. CT.
The 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ will be held on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 and will feature the Winnipeg Jets and the Edmonton Oilers® in an outdoor regular season NHL® game at Investors Group Field.
Additionally, legendary players from both the Jets and the Oilers will participate in the 2016 NHL Heritage Classic™ Alumni Game, taking place on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Investors Group Field. Featuring Dale Hawerchuk and Teemu Selanne from the Jets’ alumni, along with Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier from the Oilers’ alumni, the game will pay tribute to Winnipeg’s rich professional hockey history. Alumni Game participants are subject to change.
Tickets for the 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ will be sold as an event package and will include both the 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ and the 2016 NHL Heritage Classic™ Alumni Game. Tickets will be released to eligible Winnipeg Jets Seat Holders starting on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 through to Friday, June 24th, 2016.
