Vegas hammer already-eliminated Winnipeg 6-2, Mark Scheifele first ever Jets 2.0 player to 100 points

The result didn’t matter since the Jets were already-eliminated but it certainly wasn’t a very good result as the Golden Knights roll them 6-2. They become just the fifth team to go from the Presidents’ Trophy to out of the playoffs.

Notable:

Jets prospect Brayden Yager (2023 1st) made his NHL debut. First Winnipeg player to wear 29 since Patrik Laine.

For the first time ever the Jets 2.0 have a 100 point player as Mark Scheifele hit that mark with a secondary assist on the first goal by Winnipeg and then got to 101 with a goal of his own.

On the first goal Gabriel Vilardi got to 30 goals for the first time in his career.

Kyle Connor got a primary assist which got him to 90 points for the second consecutive season.

Multi Point Game:

Mark Scheifele 1G 1A
Gabriel Vilardi 1G 1A
