– Breaking News: As per @BrownScottTN, The Jets have claimed 24-year-old defenseman Keaton Ellerby off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings.

– On Friday, the Jets recalled 21-year-old defenseman Julian Melchiori from the St. John’s IceCaps (AHL) and placed defenseman Mark Stuart on the Injured Reserve retroactive to October 29th. Stuart is dealing with a nagging hip injury.  Melchiori has played in 14 games this year with St. John’s and has one assist and 14 penalty minutes.

– The Chicago Blackhawks have scored 45 goals in 13 games which is 3rd most in the Western Conference and 4th most in the entire National Hockey League

– Winnipeg Jets Captain Andrew Ladd has six points (all assists) in his last five games

Evander Kane has taken 64 shots this so far this season which is 3rd most in the NHL. Only Alexander Ovechkin (75) and Zach Parise (67) have taken more shots.

– Power Play Futility Watch: Winnipeg scored a 5-on-3 Power Play goal in their last game against the St. Louis Blues to snap an eight-game drought and are now ranked 26th in the NHL at 11.1%. Blake Wheeler leads the Jets with two power play goals.
