Many believed the Jets were going to employ the same blueprint last night against the Kings that they used so well on Monday in a 4-0 shutout of the previously undefeated Blues. Instead it was a wild, see-saw affair which saw L.A. dominate but Connor Hellebuyck kept his team in it until they opportunistically got back into the game and then rode that to a unexpected 6-4 win.
With tonight being a back-to-back and with Connor Hellebuyck having faced 43 shots the expectation is David Rittich will be in net when they take on Arizona. Logan Stanley‘s health remains a question mark after he missed the game last night.
Skate news:

Lineup:
Assistant coach Brad Lauer confirmed that the only lineup change will be David Rittich in net.
Betway Odds:
Having won two straight, in wildly different manners, the Jets come into tonight’s game against the 1.0 version of themselves as the favourites. Will playing a home opener change the manner in which the Coyotes come out? Apparently, the rink itself may prove to be something of a major home ice advantage so that is a significant unknown heading into the game. Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.
