Game 76: Jets vs Lightning pre-game report

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets are coming off a 6-1 demolishing at the hands of the top team in the Eastern Conference last night as the Panthers thumped them to kick off a four-game road trip on anything but a smooth note.

Interim head coach Dave Lowry pulled Connor Hellebuyck after 40 minutes of play when his top netminder gave up four goals on 26 shots and Eric Comrie played the 3rd period where he gave up two goals on 17 shots. It is a must-win game tonight (in theory) so we shall have to wait and see which netminder gets the call this evening.

Skate news:

No skate this morning.

Warm-up skate:

As per Mitchell Clinton of JetsTV it will be Connor Hellebuyck back in net tonight. Also they’ve swapped Kyle Connor and Morgan Barron and lastly Dylan Samberg isn’t skating and Logan Stanley is playing in his place.

Jets projected lines & D pairs:

Betway Odds:

The odds continue to not look good for the Jets according to our friends at Betway and that shouldn’t be a big surprise given the Lightning only have seven regulation losses all season long at home.
