Game 71: Jets vs. Devils – Postponed

There is a severe weather system gripping the east coast of the United States and it will impact the Jets and Devils game tonight as it has been postponed by the NHL.  The Jets had arrived late last night (or really early this AM) so they won’t suffer from having a few days to rest and recover and avoid playing a back to back this evening.  Now they have a couple of days off before a Thursday contest in Brooklyn against the Islanders.

Fear not though as you will not be without hockey this evening.  I am jumping in the broadcast booth to provide some colour commentary with voice of the Moose Mitch Peacock who has the call on tonight’s Moose/Marlies game.  Pre-game starts at 6:45 pm.  Listen on Moose hockey and TSN 1290 Winnipeg.

Jets Release:

The National Hockey League announced this morning that tonight’s Winnipeg Jets game against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center in New Jersey has been postponed due to the severe winter storm impacting the area. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 28.
