Game 7 of the Preseason – Jets vs. Wild projected lines

The Jets final pre-season game will see Winnipeg head to St. Paul to take on the Wild.  Lines for the Jets come via Ted Wyman from the Winnipeg Sun:

Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler
Connor-Little-Burmistrov
Laine-Perreault-Armia
Dano-Lowry-Thorburn

Morrissey-Byfuglien
Enstrom-Myers
Chiarot-Postma

Hutchinson
Pavelec

Wild lines come via Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune:

Parise-Staal-Coyle
Granlund-Koivu-Pominville
Niederreiter-Haula-Stewart
Zucker-Eriksson Ek-Bertschy

Suter-Spurgeon
Scandella-Brodin
Reilly-Folin

Dubnyk
Kuemper

The expectation was that Ondrej Pavelec would get this game and some are finding it rather curious that he isn’t starting.   Will bear watching.

According to Ted in the pre-game chat Coach Maurice indicated that both Drew Stanford and Shawn Matthias are both “possible” for the Thursday opener.

Player Audio:

Mark Scheifele:  Finishing off the pre-season.  Getting rivalry going with the Wild.  His approach to training camp.  Re-capturing last season’s end of season performance.

Ben Chiarot:  Getting ready for the pre-season finale.  Opportunity to have more regulars on the ice, make it more easy to get ready to go?  Evaluating Jets and his own pre-season so far.

Coach Video:

Topics: Goalie decision. What else is he looking for tonight from the lines he is using tonight? What does he like about Lowry in front on the power play?  Injury updates on Stafford, Lemieux and Matthias.  Could Stafford and Matthias play in home opener?  Laine and Connor talk.
