Notable:

Milestone night for Adam Lowry who played his 600th game with the Jets. He is just third player to hit that milestone with the 2.0 version (alongside Wheeler & Scheifele). He becomes just sixth ever to hit this milestone with a Jets team (Steen, Hawerchuk & Smail for 1.0).

Jets were celebrating Black History and Manitoban and Jets 1.0 forward Ray Neufeld was part of the intro video. “….I always played for the team on the front. The colour my skin is is irrelevant.” He and his sister Sara out for the ceremonial faceoff to huge cheers from the crowd.

You wanted to know and now you do…Nino Niederreiter’s goal song is….Disco Inferno….

The Jets honoured the memory of Winnipegger Paul Jerrard who recently passed away. Fans asked to join in a moment of celebration of his life.

These are all milestone points for Josh Morrissey but he hits the 60 point mark for the first time in his career after he opens the scoring against the Kings.

Josh Morrissey also hits a new career high in goals as his two tonight give him 13 in 61 games (so far….the way he’s going he could win someone a million dollars tonight).

Speaking of milestones Blake Wheeler picked up his 600th career assist.

On the fourth Jets goal Morrissey picked up another assist which gives him 50 assists in a season for the first time in his career.

Anze Kopitar with an impressive four goal performance for the visitors.
