Coach Maurice:  The matchup challenge presented by Anze Kopitar.  Big picture, how has the group handled this home stand?  On playing a team on the second game of a back-to-back.  On sending players (Comrie, Poolman) to Moose to get some game play in.  Is he confident that Adam Lowry will be back in the lineup before regular season ends?   Health Updates.  Whether he tries to keep folks away from Doughty.  On the power play rotation.  How much does he give his opinion on players that the Jets may be looking at (trade talk)?  What is the challenge to bringing players into the Jets at this point in the season?  Does he weigh how someone might fit in the room?  Should fans assume that the Jets will add at trade deadline?

Health Updates:

During today’s scrum coach Maurice was asked about whether he was confident as to whether Adam Lowry would be back before the end of the regular season to which the Jets bench boss replied “I expect him early March.”  He provided a health update on Brandon Tanev saying “Tanev is back bumping today.  Maybe a week.  He doesn’t play back-to-back for sure but Nashville we would be fairly confident we see him there.”  He added this about Lowry and Jacob Trouba indicating “Lowry is ahead of Trouba.  There is a two-week window kinda starting in March. They may be both back by the middle of March, maybe the third week for Trouba.  Those ones just take a little longer.”  The coach feels both Lowry and Trouba will be on the eastern road trip which starts March 4th in Carolina.
