Game 56: Jets vs Rangers pre-game report

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets took Saturday off after a disappointing OT loss on Friday to the Stars. Today will be the first time in over two years the Blueshirts are in Winnipeg (last game was February 11th, 2020). There is some lineup uncertainty with the health of Nate Beaulieu after he left the game against Dallas in the opening period. Seems likely that the team will insert Logan Stanley back into the lineup and recall Ville Heinola from the Moose.

Morning skate:

As per Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun goalie Connor Hellebuyck is doing his regular starting routine. Missing from skate are Neal Pionk and Dominic Toninato.

Health news:

Jets interim head coach Dave Lowry advised during his media availability this morning that Nate Beaulieu is “longer than day to day.”.

Jets projected lines & D pairs:

Stastny-Scheifele-Wheeler
Connor-Dubois-Svechnikov
Copp-Lowry-Ehlers
Vesalainen-Toninato-Harkins

Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Stanley-Schmidt
