No rest for the Jets as they go from facing (and losing) to one of the top teams in the East to one of the top teams in the West when they welcome the Blues to town tonight. Both Winnipeg and St. Louis lost last night so you can expect it to be an interesting contest.
The Jets lost Mathieu Perreault in the 2nd period and guys like Mark Scheifele took a beating throughout the course of the game.
We do know that Connor Hellebuyck will be back in the net for Winnipeg.
Morning Skate:
According to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun “Nathan Beaulieu, Logan Shaw and Cam Schilling are on the ice”.

Jets coach Paul Maurice indicated that Mathieu Perreault won’t play tonight. Expectation is Logan Shaw will draw back in (since the Moose are in Chicago and there hasn’t been a recall yet made).
Warm-Up Skate:
Jansen Harkins will be moving on up to the 3rd line. Shaw will slide onto the 4th.

Coach Maurice: Update on Mathieu Perreault? Will Logan Shaw draw in? How does he approach today with his group after so many good things last night but not winning? Was the defence being more aggressive a product of the break? Based on how well they played but losing, how much does he have to try to fight off discouragement? Where do things stand with Nathan Beaulieu? Would he consider seven D tonight? What did he see from Jansen Harkins when he got the bump up? Alex Steen playing in game 1000 tonight.

Health News:
Jets coach Paul Maurice was asked for an update on Mathieu Perreault who left last night’s game and did not return. “He’s getting looked at today. So probably by tonight maybe I’ll have an answer for ya.”. He was also asked about Nathan Beaulieu who was seen as a possible player tonight. “He’s right there. As expected sore after, we had a fairly heavy practice before yesterday’s game, but he’s right there. He won’t go tonight. But he’ll get now three days and two of them will be full on work days with the group and then we’ll look for him for Nashville.”
