The Jets held on the beat the Canes by a final score of 3-1 to improve to 3-2 on the season and to kick off this six game homestand on the right skate.

For those who would like to take a deeper dive into the advanced stats here are the results from tonight’s game via Natural Stat Trick.

Notable:

– Laurent Brossoit was the difference tonight making 42 saves in his Jets regular season debut;
– Patrik Laine ripped home a power play goal (2nd goal of the season);
– Bryan Little got the game winner, his first of the season (aside from Brossoit he was the best Jets player);
