Game 39: Jets vs. Islanders pre-game report

The Jets are looking for some revenge against an Islanders team that handed them a 5-1 loss just prior to the Christmas holiday break. The big news in Jets land is that the team has had to adjust their roster with the news that Mark Scheifele will be out of the lineup for 6-8 weeks. Below are the adjusted lines that coach Maurice used in practice on Thursday.

Morning skate notes:

Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun indicated that Connor Hellebuyck was “doing the shooting drills he normally takes when starting in net, so look for him to get the start”. Scott Billeck who writes for the NHL indicated that the lines are expected to be the same today as they were yesterday.
