Record Setting:
Blake Wheeler became the all-time franchise leader in points with his two points tonight as he overtook Ilya Kovalchuk. The Jets captain is now up to 616 points with the franchise. And if he wasn’t going to break the record in Winnipeg you’d have to think St. Paul is the second best option for the born and raised Minnesotan.
Notable:
– Mark Scheifele scored his team leading 17th;
– Blake Wheeler 1G 1A;
– Patrik Laine 2G
– Jansen Harkins with his first ever NHL point;
– Connor Hellebuyck with his third shutout of the season.

Coach Maurice: Did the shorthanded goal set the tone for the game? On Blake Wheeler making franchise history. Appropriate that it was Wheeler to Laine? Jansen Harkins first NHL game. How well the Wild play at home. Why they play well in afternoon games. Was this among their most complete games of the year? Small but important defensive plays. Status of Lowry. How important was it to arrest the losing streak?
