The Jets weren’t on the ice on Wednesday as they worked out off ice and held video sessions in advance of today’s game. The Hawks played last night in Chicago and were dealt a 4-1 loss at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche.
AM Skate:
It appears Jansen Harkins will have to wait to make his NHL debut as he is not listed in the line rushes according to Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun. Scott also indicated that Connor Hellebuyck is in the starter’s net at skate.

Health Update:
Coach Maurice provided a slight update on Andrew Copp‘s timeline saying it will be at least four weeks. With respect to Mathieu Perreault the Jets bench boss said “Better. Doesn’t change anything. We’re hoping to get him on the ice soon. So there’s been no setback in any of this. You’re always watching in the first three or four days for a guy to go backwards. He hasn’t. So he’s kinda staging each day what he does in the weight room, then we’ll see him on the ice soon.”
Waiver Claim:
Jets have claimed goalie Eric Comrie off waivers from the Red Wings. It has been a weird 2019-20 season for the Jets 2013 2nd round pick.
