Game 3: Winnipeg Jets vs New York Islanders pre-game report

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets are in Elmont, New York to take on the Islanders as they kick off their first road trip of the season. They face an opponent that has lost both games they’ve played this season so you know that coach Patrick Roy won’t be happy.

The only really question mark for Winnipeg is the status of Haydn Fleury who was listed as day-to-day by head coach Scott Arniel who did add that if Fleury is fine he could be a player. If he isn’t able to play then Colin Miller will make his first appearance of the season playing on his offside.
