The Jets were looking for five straight wins but last night in San Jose the Sharks put an end to that streak or you could say the powerless power play for Winnipeg did themselves in as they went 0/5 in a game they lost 2-1. With Laurent Brossoit in net yesterday we know that Connor Hellebuyck plays tonight to play three of the four road games.
It seems likely that the team will sit Logan Stanley and return to the 12/6 rotation with AJF back in the lineup.
Recall news:
As expected the Jets made a recall this morning and not surprisingly they went with veteran Dominic Toninato.
Tidbits:
While it doesn’t pertain to the game this evening notable this morning in Winnipeg was the fact that Ville Heinola and Rasmus Kupari were skating and taking light contact.
Morning skate news:

Betway Odds:
The Kings are a very Jekyl and Hyde team when it comes to home and away where they are an impressive 11-1-1 when not playing in California but for whatever reason they are a rather pedestrian 5-4-3 at Crypto. This team has been downright stingy when it comes to giving up goals limiting their opponents to just 60 goals against which is the absolute best in the NHL. They are 7-3-1 in their last ten games. They did lose their last game which was a 4-1 decision to the Rangers in New York on Sunday. The oddsmakers are giving a big edge to the home team.
