Game 28: Golden Knights 6 Jets 5 post-game recap

The Jets lose their second straight game as Vegas takes the battle of 1st place teams by a final score of 6-5.

Notable:

Tonight was the 150th game for Pierre-Luc Dubois wearing a Jets uniform.

Josh Morrissey just obliterated his assists record as he picked up the 27th assists of the season in game 28. Wow. His old career high was 26 in 65 games. Just remarkable.

The Jets third line was very good tonight. Rewarded with a goal to tie the game 2-2. Morgan Barron with a huge cheer from the Winnipeg crowd.

Last Jets goal: Morgan Barron Dylan Samberg Jansen Harkins If this was Jeopardy my answer would be: Three players who all wore antlers last season. Also three guys who were not in my kitchen.

In warm-up Sam Gagner was tipping pucks (quite nicely) and he does it in the game to tie it 3-3. Kevin Stenlund with his first point as a member of the Jets in his first game with Winnipeg.

Mark Scheifele now over a 50 goal pace on the season with his 16th, 17th and 18th goals of the season in game 28.
