Game 19: Jets 5 Devils 2 post-game report

Recap:

A crazy 2nd period which saw the Jets erupt for five goals on 11 shots.

– Kyle Connor (5) from Wheeler (20) and Scheifele (12)
– Patrik Laine (10) from Ehlers (5) and Little (6)
– Jacob Trouba (1) from Connor (5) and Scheifele (13)
– Matt Hendricks (2) from Perreault (3) and Armia (3)
– Mathieu Perreault (3) from Hendricks (2) and Armia (4).

Notes:

– Patrik Laine continues his points streak as it hits eight games (6G 3A);
– Jacob Trouba scored his first goal of the season;
– Tobias Enstrom left the ice in considerable pain in 2nd, returned to play rest of period, didn’t play 3rd.

Injury Update:

Coach Maurice didn’t have an update following the game on the status of Tobias Enstrom but expects to know more tomorrow.  However, while the Jets will hold a media availability (no skate) before leaving for Nashville, coach Maurice won’t be available to speak.  The Moose play at 2 pm so if someone is going to be recalled we will know tomorrow.
