The Jets are looking to stop their losing skid after going 0-1-1 during their two-game road trip out west. Today they welcome Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins to town for their only visit of the season. The question coming into the game was the status of veteran forward Paul Stastny although since he didn’t skate on Sunday he will most likely have to wait until the road trip to return to the lineup.
Morning skate:
As per Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet goalie Connor Hellebuyck will get the start in net for the Jets and Paul Stastny did not skate but according to Mitchell Clinton he was on the ice before morning skate got underway.
