Former Winnipeg Jets forward Michael Eyssimont claimed by the San Jose Sharks

With the Jets getting back to almost full health they needed to make some lineup decisions ahead of their game against the Lightning tonight and yesterday they began by putting Michael Eyssimont on waivers on Thursday.

He played 19 games for Winnipeg since being recalled by the Jets which included scoring his first NHL goal and adding three assists.

However he won’t be heading to the Moose as he has been claimed by the San Jose Sharks as per Curtis Pashelka who covers the California based team.
