Former Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose defenceman Dylan Coghlan signs one-year contract with Vegas

The BC product has found himself another hockey home.

About nine days after free agency opened last year Winnipeg inked defencman Dylan Coghlan to a one-year deal after they had acquired  the RFA for “future considerations” from the Hurricanes. The offensively inclined right shot Dman spent the majority of his season in the AHL with the Moose although he did get into six games in the NHL with the Jets.

While he was held without a point in the NHL he still played pretty well during his opportunities up with the big club. He was extremely productive with the farm team as he scored 12 goals along with 16 assists for 28 points in 36 games.

He is heading back to Vegas according to Irfaan Gaffar where he spent three seasons before being dealt to Carolina as part of the Max Pacioretty contract dump by the Golden Knights.
