I’m not sure any player in the Jets organization has been up and down between the NHL with Winnipeg and AHL with Manitoba more than Dominic Toninato. Since he was signed as a free agent back in 2020 the Minnesotan has been a constant between the two clubs.
This year was a particularly impactful one as he was named captain of Manitoba. In 60 games for the Moose he had 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 points. He also was recalled to the big club playing five regular season games and two more in the playoffs.

He had really embraced raising a family in Winnipeg and calling this place home for the last five seasons. But he is moving on as Scott Powers of The Athletic Chicago is reporting he has signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Blackhawks.
Wishing him and his family all the best in Illinois. He was always a pleasure to deal with. And now the Moose have to find a new captain for next season.
