Flames give back to fans

The Calgary Flames hit the streets Wednesday to make special deliveries to some season ticket holders.

Calgary Flames CEO and President Ken King. head coach Mike Keenan and Flames players Dion Phaneuf, Robyn Regehr, Wayne Primeau, David Moss, Mike Cammalleri, Andre Roy, along with Flames alumni Jim Peplinski, personally delivered season tickets to Calgary Flames season ticket holders.

The Flames set out in different directions to visit Calgary residences and businesses  as 20 lucky people had their ticket books delivered personally.

The Flames, like the Penguins, are giving back to their loyal season ticket base and that can only be seen as positive.  With the prices of tickets these days, it is the least these organizations can do.

The Moose head to B.C. today where they will begin four games on the road starting on Friday with the Canucks (of Abbotsford).

Their lineup will be bolstered by the addition of Dominic Toninato who passed through waivers on Wednesday.

The Jets take their act on the road starting with a game tomorrow night in St. Louis against the Blue.

The Moose will be in Abbotsford for a practice on Thursday as they get ready to kick off four away from Manitoba.
