** Breaking News

– According to websites
http://www.blog.mlive.com/ and http://www.russianprospects.com/, Detroit Red Wings Rookie Forward Igor Grigorenko has returned to Russia to play for Salavat Yulaev. Grigorenko was technically sent down to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL, but he decided to reject that offer and return to the Russian Super League where he can make over $1 million per season. The 24-year-old enigmatic sniper will most likely get every opportunity to make the talent-laden Red Wings next season.
