Elliotte Friedman: NHLPA filed a grievance challenging Dustin Byfuglien’s suspension

Elliotte Friedman reported in his 31 Thoughts earlier today that he thought it would be imminent and tonight he announced on twitter that it is official and that the NHLPA has filed a grievance.

As per 17.3 (b) of the CBA there are ten days to respond to the filing of a grievance.  Here are the details of the fight that will pit the two sides against each other.
