Dustin Byfuglien chosen to represent Winnipeg Jets at 2015 All-Star game

While I suspect he would prefer to take some time and enjoy some ice fishing the Jets defenceman has been chosen to represent the team at the 2015 All-Star game in Columbus later this month.  This is the third straight* time (2011, 2012 and 2015) that he has been named to the team.

Winnipeg Sun:  Byfuglien named all-star.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Byfuglien – our man at the All-Star game.

Hear his thoughts on being named to the All-Star team:

Dustin Byfuglien His thoughts on being named to the All-Star team.  On being added as a defenceman.  Didn’t get to go last time due to injury, does it mean more that he can go this time around?  Does it give him extra pride being named as a defenceman even though he’s only played defence for last six weeks.

*The 2013 All-Star game was cancelled due to lockout and there wasn’t one in 2014 due to the Olympics.
