Coach Maurice confirms Blake Wheeler out for Blues game

For the second game in a row the Jets will have to try to secure two points without the services of Blake Wheeler. Coach Maurice confirmed in his meeting with the media today following practice that Wheeler will not play tomorrow night against the St. Louis Blues at the MTS Centre.

The Jets bench boss did say that he is hopeful that Wheeler can play against the Kings on Sunday. But for now the winger remains out of the lineup on a day-to-day basis with a lower body injury.
