Classic IC: May 20, 2011 Part 2

The Illegal Curve Hockey Show – Classic IC – May 20, 2011 – Part 2

On May 19, 2011, Stephen Brunt reported in the Globe & Mail that True North had purchased the Atlanta Thrashers. While the sale of the team was not “official”, it was evident that there would be NHL Hockey in Winnipeg for the 2011-2012 season.

On May 20, 2011, the morning after the big announcement, including a party at Portage & Main, Drew, Richard and Ezra went live on Sports Radio 1290 for the first live local morning radio show in the station’s history.

Relive the excitement here.
