The Jets suffer their first loss in six games as the Hawks prevail in an emotional game for Jonathan Toews in his return to the Windy City. Chicago takes it 2-0.

Notable:

The Blackhawks welcomed former captain Jonathan Toews with a long video welcome back and a huge United Center standing ovation after the Winnipegger hit the ice for the first time in the place he called home for 15 seasons.

Also notable was Isaak Phillips played his first game in a Jets jersey which coincidentally came against the team which drafted him and for which he played 56 NHL games. He was playing because Elias Salomonsson was reportedly ill.
