Canucks bring Nolan Baumgartner back

From Tsn.ca:

Nolan Baumgartner has signed a one year, two-way deal with the Vancouver Canucks, according to his agent, Allain Roy.

Here is a link to the article.

Baumgartner split last season between the Iowa Stars/Manitoba Moose and has yo-yoed between the AHL and NHL for years now. Baumgartner will get every chance to crack the Canucks top-six D and should be a good mentor for the team’s younger rearguards like Alex Edler.

The Jets have one final game day before the All-Star break as they take on a Blues team which are also mired in a slump.

The Moose set off on the road for three games after a win over the Marlies on Sunday.

The Ice return home after winning 2/3 on road.

ICYMI: The Moose won three of their last four including a big 3-2 win over the Marlies on Sunday afternoon.

But the victory may have been overshadowed by the 60th bday cerebration of the man known as Dancing Gabe.
