Breaking News: Paul Maurice resigns as Winnipeg Jets head coach

Paul Maurice has been the bench boss in Winnipeg for eight full seasons and this year was his ninth, which made him the second longest tenured coach in the NHL, but today the team announced he has resigned.

Dave Lowry has agreed to take over as interim coach.

Maurice will be available to the media today in the Matt Frost Media Centre at 10:00 a.m.
