In his first season as a pro Jets prospect Brayden Yager has been having an impact at the AHL level with Manitoba. He’s got 10 goals and 20 assists for 30 points in 68 games on a Moose club that doesn’t product a ton of offence.

As per Jets colour analyst Mitchell Clinton, the centre is set to play alongside fellow prospect Nikita Chibrikov and Nino Niederreiter.
For those curious Yager and Chibrikov have played on the same line 16 times this season including as recently as last Friday night when Nikita set Brayden up for the first goal of the game for the Moose.

Yager confirmed to Mitch that his mom was in Winnipeg when he got the recall news and they phoned his dad. Luckily for him the family will be in Vegas to watch his NHL debut.
His teammates are also excited to watch. Spoke with fellow prospect Thomas Milic today after Moose practice and he shared his excitement to watch and said Yager’s teammates were already planning where they’d watch the game as a group.
