Demitra and Steve Bernier, last week’s key acquisition, replace Brendan Morrison and Markus Naslund on the Canucks’ roster. That makes Vancouver different — bigger, younger, slightly more physical — but not necessarily any more offensive. Or does a potential second-line of Demitra-Kyle Wellwood-Mason Raymond really get your heart pumping?

McIntyre’s point is well taken. The Canucks need to make another move or two before heading into the season. Obviously their number one need is scoring up-front.
