Vegas with the comeback win defeating Winnipeg 4-3 in OT as the Jets lose another one goal game. That’s now 15 times they’ve lost by a goal this season (10 in regulation, four in OT and one in a SO). That’s tough as the winless streak hits 10 games for the home team (0-6-4).

Notable:
A big game for Luke Schenn who was playing in game 1100 of his career.
The Jets opened the scoring as Cole Perfetti finished off a nice pass by Jonathan Toews for his first goal since November 29th (a span of 17 games).
Golden Knights captain Mark Stone being charitable to his fellow Manitobans as his stick ends up in the stands and in the hands of this fan.
Josh Morrissey was recognized for playing game 700 during the road trip while Luke Schenn was honoured for game 1100. Somewhat surprisingly they didn’t play a video for captain Adam Lowry who played game 800 on the road.
A tough situation in the 1st period as Haydn Fleury was hit by Keegan Kolesar and he went flying into the boards. He was stretchered off. The team did report that he was “fully alert and moving his extremities upon departure”.
Kolesar and the captain Adam Lowry dropped the gloves for a tilt as the Brandon, Manitoba product answered for the hit on Fleury.
Luke Schenn the sniper as he gets his first as a member of the Winnipeg Jets. And shortly thereafter he laid the perfect hit in the neutral zone.
Vegas captain and Winnipegger Mark Stone cut the lead in half on the power play.
What a shot by Kyle Connor. It was his 20th of the season. 9th straight season that the Michigan product has scored 20 goals which he’s done every full season he’s played in NHL.
But the lead did not last long as the visitors tied it up just 59 seconds later.
Both teams had a chance to win in overtime but in the end it was Vegas who wins it with a man advantage.
Another tough loss for Winnipeg.
